My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer Grade-2. We are planning to travel to India for treatment. Is there anyone who had gone through similar kind of experience for Grade 2 cancer treatment in Chennai, Mumbai, or Delhi for themselves or a member of their family? How long can one stay in India nonstop in this situation, and what is the overall cost? (Although time and cost concerns may rely on the doctor's numerous tests and reports, giving us a rough idea of time and cost from your prior experience would be very helpful in planning)!
Treatment in India will take time because breast cancer is treated as soon as possible Hope it will be good. I took my younger brother to see a doctor at Vellore CMC when I spoke to a man from Faridpur about this disease. He is saying that by treating and improving the condition of his patient. If you go for treatment in Vellore, the cost of treatment is low but there is a cost of accommodation It will take a lot of time
I don’t recommend vellore, its a lengthy process
An aunty I know was in CMC for about six months after which she went again twice and stayed for about three months now she is doing well.
It will take time, the cost is a little less in CMC, the treatment is good, my mother did it
Mumbai Tata Memorial Hospital.
The cost of treating this disease is a little high, but it is a matter of time. Don't take it together, take it step by step. You will get good treatment in Vellore.
It will take three to four months and the cost will be around 5 lakhs.
You can rent a single room house and buy a rice cooker to cook yourself.
The medical cost depends on the doctor tests and the condition of the patient.
Last 1 month ago, a woman in my area died of breast cancer. Her husband said that she needed 60,000 rupees per month for medicine.
If you don't have money problem, go to Tata Memorial Hospital.
You can go to vydehi bangalore, for low cost, less time and good treatment option.
If you are short on time then don't go to Tata Memorial Mumbai. You can visit Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital Delhi for fast and good treatment. I am here for my foot treatment. There are many lodges near the hospital. Here the food is cooked and all the pots and pans are provided. You have to cook and eat in the room.
Dr Ashish Singh. very good doctor
It will take about six months to complete the therapy including various tests and surgeries.
You say great 2 then whatever the stage is you go to velor cmc see doctor asish singh, very good doctor my wife's bangladesh doctors said great 1, I went to cmc along with it took almost a month to get treatment, surgery was done for small tumor after that Biopsy done, no cancer, hope God sees if your fate is like mine.
One one my friends father-in-law has been diagnosed with throat cancer, Please let me know which one would be better for treatment between Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre in Delhi and Tata Memorial in Mumbai
Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital (Non Profitable) in Rohini, Delhi takes less time and costs as much as Tata.
Like Tata Memorial Bangladeshi people are less aware so the crowd is less satisfactory quality
It is suggested to not go for these hospitals if cancer is in first stage
once cancer is diagnosed
Firstly treatment is required
Which is sometime not possible in charitable trust or hospitals considering the time and process
As it take lot of time so the cancer can go 2nd or 3rd stage before even start of treatment
This could become complicated in some cases
Both are good, recovery takes more time, less in Rajiv Gandhi, quality of treatment is good in Rajiv Gandhi, my younger sister has been undergoing treatment for some time back.
I didn't go to CMC, so I don't know the cost, and they cost different depending on the treatment
I go to Rajiv Gandhi for follow up. Quality of treatment is good. It also takes less time. Tata Mumbai is very good but it takes more time.
No Doubt Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. Time and medical service is very good.
