The inauguration ceremony, graced by Thiru. Ma. Subramaniam, Hon'ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of TN, marked a significant leap towards making advanced cancer treatment accessible to all.

This 100-bedded facility stands as a testament to Equitas SFB's unwavering commitment to their Beyond Banking initiatives, particularly in the healthcare domain. At the core of Sringeri Sharada Equitas Hospital's offerings is a holistic approach to cancer care. "This has been a humongous and very sacred project for us. After 7 years of persistent work by our team and great support from all the noble souls, we built this Hospital at Gowrivakkam, Chennai, in collaboration with Sringeri Sharada Mutt through our bank’s 5% contribution and donations from few noble souls."

The hospital, built on a capex-free model due to generous donations, holds the promise of affordability, with rates expected to be 30 to 50% lower than the market price. The anticipated installation of one of the world's best radiation machines by mid-2024 further underscores their commitment to cutting-edge cancer care.
