Join the "One Health - One Move" international webinar to explore innovative strategies for implementing One Health programs across Asia and beyond, on November 12-13, 2024.

The global healthcare landscape is evolving, and one concept is at the forefront of international collaboration – One Health. On November 12-13, 2024, the One Health - One Move: Breaking Barriers for a Coordinated Implementation online international webinar promises to be an exciting event that will delve into how nations, particularly those in the ASEAN region, can efficiently implement and coordinate One Health programs to benefit both people and the environment.

Organized by the French Embassy in Indonesia and Timor Leste, the National Agency for Research and Innovation (BRIN), Indonesian Epidemiological Association (PAEI), University of Montpellier, Mahidol University, and the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA), the event brings together leading experts and stakeholders from around the world.

Unlike other events that introduce the One Health concept, this symposium focuses on finding actionable strategies and synergies for its coordinated implementation, targeting both regional and global levels. The goal is to break down the barriers that hinder progress and to create a framework for integrating One Health into societies more effectively.

The symposium will explore three crucial themes:

One Health Programs in Asia: A look at how One Health initiatives are currently being rolled out across Asia, and what lessons can be learned for future success.
Interoperability, Interoperationality, and Social Integration: These concepts focus on ensuring that systems across health, environmental, and agricultural sectors can work seamlessly together, making collaboration easier.
Coordinated International Implementation: The final theme addresses how countries can collaborate globally to overcome challenges and create unified, impactful One Health strategies.
With the pandemic highlighting the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, there’s never been a more urgent need for global action. The One Health framework serves as a powerful approach to prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases, improve public health, and protect ecosystems. This event provides a timely opportunity for experts and policymakers to chart a unified course toward a healthier, more sustainable future.

The event promises to be an exciting blend of insights, knowledge sharing, and discussions on how to put these innovative concepts into practice. The outcome? A more coordinated, integrated, and effective global response to health challenges.

As the world continues to grapple with complex health issues, One Health - One Move is set to drive the much-needed momentum toward a healthier world.
