Clive Roberts agrees with his doctor that the test causes stressI read the letter (2 February) from the retired urologist Reginald Hall, saying that men should think very carefully before asking their GP for a PSA test, with great interest. In 2012, I requested a PSA test from my then doctor. She declined, saying it wasn’t trustworthy and gave far too many false positive results to be of any use.I insisted, telling her that both my brothers had prostate cancer and that there was a good chance that I had it too.
