Emergency Department Education Intervention for Hypertension

This randomized clinical trial investigated if an Education and mHealth Empowerment intervention delivered to patients in the emergency department with high systolic blood pressure had greater reductions in systolic blood pressure at 6 months compared with standard discharge instructions with outpatient referral.
